The Pet Food Industry has promoted the idea that commercial pet food offers a complete and balanced diet to keep your pet healthy.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  The pet food industry is virtually self regulated in the United States and Canada.

Commercial formulated pet food is made with rancid grains and wheat, as well as 4D animals.  Animals classified as "4D" are animals that are Dead, Dying, Diseased and Disabled.  This also includes road kill and euthanised pets.  Chemical flea collars and any drugs the animals may have been treated with are also ground up with the animals at the rendering plant.

The pet food industry provides a place where waste that is "unfit for human consumption" can be turned into a profit.

This diet will result in pets with skin allergies, illnesses such as cancer, kidney, liver and heart failure, hypertension, as well as a poor coat and difficult whelping.  Pets on commercial pet food diets lose years off their lives.
